He still should have a fairly clear path to seeing the lion's share of the reps at designated hitter while both Travis d'Arnaud (concussion) and Michael Harris (back) are on the injured list, but Ozuna's ongoing struggles at the plate mean that he'll likely be subject to more days off than most of Atlanta's other regulars. Eddie Rosario will spell him at designated hitter Monday while Kevin Pillar fills Rosario's usual spot in left field. 3 HOURS AGO • ROTOWIRE Sam Hilliard - Heads to bench Monday Hilliard is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Reds. Impact Following Michael Harris' (back) placement on the injured list Friday, Hilliard picked up three straight starts in center field to close out Atlanta's weekend series versus San Diego, going a collective 4-for-11 with a double, a run and seven strikeouts.

A. J. Minter has been serving as the team's primary closer with Iglesias out and it would appear he'll keep that title for a little while longer. 2 HOURS AGO • ROTOWIRE Marcell Ozuna - Not starting Monday Ozuna is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Reds. Impact Though he's produced two home runs through Atlanta's first 10 games, Ozuna has otherwise gone 0-for-25 at the plate with 10 strikeouts against five walks.

21 HOURS AGO • THEATHLETIC. COM Max Fried - Still hasn't resumed mound work Fried (hamstring) hasn't yet resumed mound work and is likely about two weeks away from returning, Mark Bowman of MLB. com reports. Impact Fried has been playing catch recently but hasn't yet progressed to mound work, and there's been no indication that he's resumed running. It's unclear when he'll be able to throw off a mound, but he'll need some time to build back up before he's in consideration to return to game action.

1 innings. Impact The 24-year-old threw 60 of his 84 pitches for strikes and perhaps found too much of the plate at times, as he surrendered two homers and four doubles. Dodd allowed just one run in five frames during his MLB debut last week, and he's likely to remain in the rotation for now since Max Fried (hamstring) isn't likely to return from the injured list for at least a couple weeks. 17 HOURS AGO • ROTOWIRE Nelson Cruz (6 RBIs) leads Padres to rout of Braves Nelson Cruz had three hits -- including a three-run homer and a double -- and drove in six runs Sunday night as the visiting San Diego Padre...

Fried is probably looking at a late-April return at this point. 1 HOUR AGO • ROTOWIRE Raisel Iglesias - No mound work yet Iglesias (shoulder) has yet to resume throwing off a mound, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports. Impact Iglesias has thrown on flat ground three times, including on back-to-back days, and feels good. However, a timetable for a bullpen session and a return to the Atlanta bullpen still appears up in the air. Iglesias is working his way back from low-grade right shoulder inflammation which developed just before Opening Day.

Though the high strikeout rate is a concern for Hilliard moving forward, he should still be locked in as Atlanta's preferred option in center field for the time being while Harris is on the shelf. Eli White will get a look in center in the series opener with the Reds, however. 4 HOURS AGO • ROTOWIRE MLB batting average up 16 points, game time down 31 minutes The major league batting average rose 16 points to4 HOURS AGO • ASSOCIATED PRESS Orlando Arcia - On base three times Sunday Arcia went 2-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored in Sunday's loss to the Padres. Impact The shortstop was the only Atlanta player to cross the plate in a 10-2 defeat. Arcia's had an outstanding start to the season, batting. 316 (12-for-38) through 10 games with two homers, four RBI and nine runs despite hitting at the bottom of the order.
