Chris A.

My name is Chris A., I am a 20-year Army Special Forces and Ranger combat Veteran. I am currently 45 years old and maintain an extremely physically demanding lifestyle within the field of tactical training. I have passion for educating and training civilians, LEOs and military units to achieve their tactical and leadership goals.

As a trainer I have to set the standard at all times. I have to perform on demand at all times without exception. My normal training days consist of being on my feet for 10 hours straight in any environmental conditions. I also compete in US Practical Shooting Association (USPSA), International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA), 2-Gun, Tactical Games and I also Skydive and maintain a US Parachute Association C-License and on top of that workout to maintain my performance. Because of both my military career and my demanding lifestyle, I have a lot of wear and tear on my body that needs constant repair and that’s where Catalyst comes into play.

Catalyst has helped me overcome injuries to keep me performing at the level I need to be for these activities. It has also helped me learn ways after my recovery to prevent future issues by incorporating new things into my training regimen. They advised me of the importance of proper recovery, and not go full speed ahead all the time. This approach allows me the balance to not only prevent injury but excel to new levels. Injury is the enemy to the athlete and how to avoid it. My time at Catalyst and the continued support I receive there through injury didn’t stop there. I am part of the Catalyst community even after injury that supports each other and refers clients to each other so we can all excel.

I highly recommend Catalyst for anyone seeking physical therapy or any recovery!
